Ovoid soft paste porcelain teapot with cover and hard paste porcelain sugar bowl with no cover, polychrome decoration of large bouquets of roses, pansies and flowered twigs. Gilt threading on borders and gilt dental on rim and lid. Fruit-shaped finial.

Teapot marked with two interlacing L’s and U for the year 1773 and painter’s mark “m.c.” Sugar bowl marked with two interlacing L’s crowned and II for the year 1784 and painter’s mark “M.H.R.”

Teapot: Height: 14 cm (5-1/2 in.) - Width: 19,8 cm (7-3/4 in.).
Sugar bowl: Height: 7,4 cm (3 in.) - Diameter: 9,5 cm (3-3/4 in.).
